Holistic Massage Therapies

In the first therapy your medical history and some questions on health and lifestyle will be taken and recorded as part of your Consultation, this should only take 10-15 minutes. The information that you give will be treated in the strictest confidence according to the Data Protection Act. It may be necessary in some cases to consult your GP before any therapy can be given.

It is advisable to wear loose, comfortable clothing.

I would recommend that you have time to rest after the therapy in order to enjoy and fully maximise the benefits.  Allow yourself to drink plenty of water and avoid heavy meals, alcohol or caffeine after any therapy as the demands of digestion will divert energy away from the natural healing process.  Light snacks, fresh fruit or raw vegetables are ideal.

Although a single therapy will be enjoyable, the effects of massage are cumulative and a course of therapies will bring the most benefits. It may take time for the benefits of the therapy to be noticed and for any patterns of imbalanced energy to be altered as some people respond quicker to the therapy than others.
